Card-Monroe Corp. Announces the Formation of Card-Monroe Group

CHATTANOOGA,TN — Celebrating its 45th anniversary, Card-Monroe Corp. today announced the formation of Card-Monroe Group (CMG), a new parent brand that unifies the company's portfolio of industrial businesses under a shared structure and identity.

CMG encompasses four divisions: Card-Monroe Corporation, the company's flagship tufting business; Card-Monroe Automation, an automation systems integrator; Card-Monroe Services, delivering industrial services; and Card-Monroe Manufacturing, specializing in electrical infrastructure equipment manufacturing. Each division maintains its own focus and customer relationships while operating as part of a more intentionally connected organization.

This announcement marks an important milestone in Card-Monroe's long history. Founded in 1981, the company's roots run even deeper, its founders were pioneers of the tufting industry, responsible for inventions in the mid-1900s that fundamentally shaped the industry. The formation of CMG honors that legacy by building a structure capable of carrying it forward for decades to come.

"Card-Monroe has always focused our resources on developing technology for our customers that provides true value," said Greg Pawson, CEO of Card-Monroe Group. "CMG reflects just that. It provides more value for our customers through four focused industrial divisions within a shared platform, so our teams can collaborate more effectively with our customers to deliver the right solutions. We are not changing who we are, we are organizing intentionally around it."

The CMG structure is designed to strengthen connections and remove barriers. Customers who work with any one division will find more natural, direct access to the full range of Card-Monroe capabilities, creating a seamless partnership across equipment, automation, manufacturing, and services.

"One of the things that defines this company is the creativity of our people," Pawson said. "Innovation is embedded in our fabric, and it has always been one of our greatest strengths. CMG enables broader innovation across our teams, delivering industry-leading equipment and services for the customers who count on us."

Brad Card, President of Card-Monroe Corporation, spoke to what the formation means for the people and relationships at the heart of the business.

“Card-Monroe was built on a simple principle: treating the people we serve, our customers, partners, and employees, in alignment with our values,” Card said. “These values, which include Honesty and Integrity and Love, Dignity, and Respect, have guided our company for forty-five years, and they will continue to drive Card-Monroe Group going forward. When people understand who we are, they can focus on what they do best and better serve those who depend on them.”

Card emphasized that for customers, the most important things are not changing.

"The relationships our people have built over the years are the foundation of this company," he said. "CMG only strengthens that. We want every customer to feel like they have the full weight of Card-Monroe behind them, no matter which part of our business they work with."

The group structure also positions Card-Monroe for continued growth. New capabilities can be developed and integrated within an established framework, allowing the company to expand without sacrificing the focus and culture that have defined it.

The formation of Card-Monroe Group represents a deliberate and confident step forward for a company with deep manufacturing roots and a clear sense of where it is headed.
