Card-Monroe Corp. Announces Launch of Card-Monroe Manufacturing, Establishing Dedicated Electrical Panel Division

CHATTANOOGA,TN – Card-Monroe Corp. (CMC), today announced the formation of Card-Monroe Manufacturing (CMM), a new division dedicated to custom and volume electrical panel manufacturing.

CMM formalizes and expands a capability that has long supported Card-Monroe Automation (CMA). What began as an internal competency built to fuel CMA's growth is now its own dedicated division, positioned to serve OEMs, system integrators, and manufacturers across industries including material handling, industrial controls, water and energy, packaging, healthcare, and more.

"Manufacturing is who we've always been," said Greg Pawson, CEO of Card-Monroe Corp." From our earliest days, we built our reputation on precision, reliability, innovation, and doing what is right. CMM carries that legacy into new markets, backed by the credibility of trusted customer relationships lasting over 45 years."

Demand for high-quality, scalable panel manufacturing is rising, yet few shops nationally can build UL-certified panels at volume while bringing genuine engineering depth and automation integration experience to the table. CMM was built to fill that gap, offering custom panel builds, high-volume production, build-to-print programs, engineering design support, and safety integration all under one roof.

Panel manufacturing was previously housed within Card-Monroe Automation, where it matured alongside CMA's broader automation practice. That background is central to how CMM sets itself apart. "There are plenty of shops that will build to a print," said Jeremy Steiner, President of Card-Monroe Automation. "What's rare is a team that understands the intent behind the panel, how it functions in the system and how it affects production. Our automation background changes the conversation. CMM doesn't just build panels. It’s the understanding of what those panels are supposed to do and why it matters."

CMM operates from over 160,000 square feet of manufacturing space across two locations, drawing on Card-Monroe's internal machining capabilities and vendor relationships built over decades. But leadership is quick to point out that the physical footprint is only part of the story. "We're not interested in being transactional," said Seth McDonald, General Manager of Card-Monroe Manufacturing. "The goal is straightforward: build panels with the same care and professionalism we'd expect if we were the customer. That means quality you can count on, lead times you can actually plan around, and a team that picks up the phone. We want customers to walk away feeling like they gained a partner, not just another vendor."

Card-Monroe Corp. spent decades establishing itself as a global leader in tufting technology, building a reputation on mechanical precision and long-term customer relationships. CMA extended that foundation into industrial automation. CMM is the next expression of that progression.

"We have a deep manufacturing history and serious investments in automation capabilities," Pawson said. "Bringing those together in a dedicated panel division lets us serve a broader set of customers in manufacturing, energy, water treatment, and beyond. It makes the whole Card-Monroe platform stronger."

At its core, CMM is guided by the same values that run through the broader organization: a servant's heart, competitive resolve, respect for people, and a commitment to relationships that last. "Our people are what make this different," McDonald added. "There's real pride in what gets built here, and that shows up in the final product."

With the launch of Card-Monroe Manufacturing, Card-Monroe Corp. takes a deliberate next step, a division built to deliver excellent panel manufacturing at scale, with the engineering intelligence to back it up.
