WELCOME TO CMC'S AWARD WINNING TUFTING-U

When you purchase a CMC tufting machine, that’s just the beginning of our relationship. We recognize that your machine operators and maintenance personnel will need to understand how to operate, troubleshoot, and repair this complex machinery. Designers and plant managers may also need to enrich their understanding of how the equipment works and how to optimize its performance. 

 
Authorized Factory Training
An important part of the service relationship with our customers is the technical training we provide at our factory.... we call it "Tufting-U". It's where your personnel will learn to make the most efficient use of your tufting machines and maximize your investment.
 
There is no better place to learn the ins-and-outs of tufting, and the proper setup, operations, maintenance and repair of tufting machines, than from the source. CMC tufting machines set the standard in the industry, and since we are constantly advancing the state-of-the-art and upgrading existing technology, staying abreast of the latest developments is a must.
 
Every class is customized to meet the specific training needs and objectives of your company/mill. Classes typically run Tuesday through Thursday. With more than seven decades of experience in tufting innovation and technology, we provide training from industry leaders who will share their expertise and answer your questions:
  • How to prevent setup mistakes?
  • How to make faster style changes to reduce downtime?
  • What are the best mechanical settings to increase the life of gauge parts?
  • How to quickly recognize, diagnose and make repairs to minimize downtime?
  • How to make adjustments or repairs without causing unrepairable mends?
 
The number of people trained and length of training are determined by the type of machine you have and the personnel involved in its operation. Participants in Tufting-U can see “their” machine being assembled on our production floor. They see how the parts are precision-made in our machine shop, and how the electrical components are assembled and tested. Their training includes classroom and simulator work as well as hands-on experience in our Creative Tufting Center.
