News: CMC Wins it Fourth Progressive Manufacturing Top 100 Award!

CARD-MONROE CORP. IS NAMED AS A WINNER OF

THE 2011 PROGRESSIVE MANUFACTURING 100 AWARDS

 The PM100 Award recognizes the contribution of CMC’s Tufting University – the technical training center dedicated to the success of the carpet industry and its employees.

Chattanooga, TN March 11, 2011 – Card-Monroe Corp. was selected as a winner of the seventh annual PM100 Awards, selected by Manufacturing Enterprise Communications, Inc., producers of the Manufacturing Leadership Summit and publishers of Managing Automation. This is the fourth time in the past five years that CMC has been recognized with this prestigious award.

An independent judging panel chaired by David R. Brousell, Editor-in-Chief and Jeff Moad, Executive Editor, of Managing Automation, and including thirteen other judges reviewed project nominations. Card-Monroe was selected in the Customer Mastery category for their Tufting University nomination. Tufting University is CMC’s one-of-a-kind training center for tufting industry employees.

According to Charles F. Monroe, CMC President, “This award confirms what we and our customers have been experiencing since Tufting University was first launched in 2008 – that knowledge and skill advancement for tufting industry employees is an important element of corporate and individual success. We are very pleased that Tufting University has received this recognition”.
