Variable Loop over Cut
Possibilities: A machine that enables loop pile patterning over a cut pile base. Patterned loops can actually be higher than the cut-pile. This is a proprietary patented machine from CMC.
Description: Omnigraph (dual needle bars), available in 5/64, 1/6 & 1/6, 1/10 and other gauges as wide as 3/16. An Infinity or other scroll-type pattern attachment is mounted on the rear (loop pile) side of the machine and a dual yarn feed mounted on the front (cut pile) side.
Advantages:
• Beams on cut pile side – reduces floor space.
• Loop above cut with no sew-through.
• Low face weight because every other end of low profile cut pile.
• Precise patterning not possible in plain cut pile.
Pattern Attachments: Dual Yarn Feed, Infinity, Infinity 2E, Quick Thread, Yarntronics, Servo Scroll.
Shifting: Smart Step shifter (optional).
